Dension 500 Bluetooth Help!

Dension 500 Bluetooth Help!

I have the Dension 500 installed with the Bluetooth addition. I have having an issue with call quality when I use the bluetooth in my car. The microphone is clipped to the sun-visor, so there should not be a problem picking up my voice. Any time I use the system to answer or make a call the person on the other end of the phone has a VERY hard time hearing and understand me. Anyone have this issue with their Dension Bluetooth? Any advice for a fix or an improvement? Getting very frustrated....

Did you try adjusting the mic or speaker volume of the BTA1500?

Thanks I will give it a try. Looks like I also need to download the firmware

Depending on when you bought the unit, you might not have too. It worked for me right out of the box and I got mine at the end of November. Use the PCM to input the digits, push the send button above the number pad and wait, in about 5 to 10 seconds the digits disappears and it is set.

push the send button above the number pad? I don't see a send button on my PCM....

where can we find the bt1500 firmware? I usually go to bumperplugs, and I have the latest firmware for the gw500.

Thx for the link cattman. I tried the files but maybe my bta1500 is too old. When I try and dial the ***12 code, it actually does dial on my phone as opposed to just changing a setting in the system.

The next logical step would be to contact Dension's helpdesk. They'll get back to you in a day or two, and will likely as for a pic of your unit and bar code. If it's an old unit, they may send you a new one.
