Joe, I remember you from the 996 forum. I searched and finally found the dual intake for my 996 which also fits 997's. I just installed and love it from Eurocupgt.com. I now have a diy on cutting into the passenger side decklid for another air duct. I ran it hard this weekend and was amazed at how cool the carbon fiber is. The heat shield really protects the intake from any heatsoak.

I will make sure to post updates once we get the car in and start the project.
Thanks for everyone's interest in this project.

Is this still in the works?

Question Is your EVOMS still for sale?

Should it be favorable (and I've always been pleased with Fabspeed parts) I'll be putting my EVOMS CAI up for sale.
Hello!

I hope you are doing well. Is your EVOMS is still for sale, and if so, what is your asking price? Also, after it was installed, did you get a CEL (in context of a stock exhaust, cat & ECU)?

In advance of your thoughts on my behalf, I thank you.

there is no aftermarket twin intake for the 997.1, the only OEM is the one on the X51? or is it one out there cheaper?

The HP and TQ gains are BS. Again, a ploy to sell a product and anyone with any intelligence about a computer generated report knows better. The old saying, "if it is too good to be true, it is." Again, think about the X51 package and all that is involved and ask yourself, "How can just replacing an air intake make such gains?" Magic and fairy dust is the answer. Save your money and enjoy what engineers, who are much more intelligent and talented than us, did to make the car what it is and keep it stock. But, if you like to add stuff to the car foir looks and sound, go for it--but don't get fooled into believing your gonna get a 405 hp 911 S based on the swap. By the way, I got some protein powder that will make you put on 50 lbs of muscles in a month by just drinking it and watching TV.

I timed my acceleration before and after install of the fabspeed intake on my 997.2 and found a very significant difference. I timed multiple runs in each of my gears 2-5 from 2K to 6K RPM. The difference was very significant. Especially with the higher gears that took longer(obviously) to get from 2K to 6K.

I had one of the original 997.1 versions and loved it. Great company to work with.
