We will see the new car this year at some european show and it should be available mid 2011 as a 2012 model.

 

Is this expected to be a completely new vehicle? Or atleast the same jump as it was from the 996 to 997?

 

You are good for at least two years. Imagine how the Turbo S buyer would feel if the 2012 car was a complete redesign. The auto journalists usually jump with eagerness and predict it to come out earler. I'm guessing 2012 as a 2013 model. Unlike the 996 this 997 line up has been such a success. It's a tough act to follow .

 

998 due late 2011 for Europe and early 2012 for US and the rest.

No one knows how different it will look. Not even a spy shot as of now~

well, I think I've seen those photos. I think we are going to see the 991 in 2012. Too much testing going on for them to hold back changes in the 'skin'. I really don't think we will see too many mechanical changes given the PDK going in the 997.2.
