Anyone had experience with Powerchip?
Anyone had experience with Powerchip?
Or, have you heard anything about them? BR Racing seems to use them exclusively and I wondered if others have experience with them.
I'd be curious to find out more. My mechanic recommends them exclusively as well and says they have a great product. That said, I can't find any feedback from 997 people who actually use their programming.
I'm VP of Powerchip and we do 997's all the time. We haven't gotten many porsche customers post online because they normally find out about us through other means. Thinking of sponsoring a forum to get closer to you guys though
If you guys want to test it out for the rest of the forum I'll see what I can do for you on price.

In standard form, the 997 911 Carrera S 3.8 produces 476 hp and 213 lb.-ft.
Powerchip has a range of chips to suit your car, which can increase it's power to between 490 hp and 499 hp, and it's torque to between 221 lb.-ft and 225 lb.-ft."
I think there is something wrong with your data on your website:

From 125 cv/l to 131 cv/l, that's nice, greater than the new F458, supposedly the highest cv/l on naturally aspirated engines currently...

The website database has been acting up and we're updating the database with accurate information. Something happened where updating international pricing affected the claimed power output of the car. I'm actually tuning a 997 S in Quebec Canada today. We have equipment that we can send to the customer to install our tunes. Vivid Racing used the same kit to install our tune on their shop M5

We don't sell generic tunes, to give a lame analogy it's more like a drive thru. You order, and we make it your way
We tune according to mods and minimum octane used to get the most out of each car we tune.
We are currently in Costa Mesa off 17th street. We are looking at moving to Irvine though as all of us live in South county.
