Full Leather?

Hi all. I have full leather on my 2008 Targa 4s. Can someone tell me which surfaces are leather?

-Entire front seats?
-Rear Seats?
-Top part of the door panel?
-Center of the door panel?
-Arm rest lid of the door panel
-The whole dash or just the strip that covers the front 2 inches and the instrument cluster?
-Glove box?
-Center console lid?

What material covers the non-leather surfaces? Vinyl? Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Frank A.

This seems to vary quite a bit... I have seen full leather cars with Leather center consoles, and sill plates, and others without... I'm not sure what is "standard" on "full leather"....

Also, if it doesn't have stitching, I assume it is not real leather?

Yeah, seems "full leather" means many different things from the pics I've seen. My entire seats, including the backs and sides are leather, the console surounds are leather but not the console or the lid, the top of my dash is leather, I think the bottom is too but there is no stitching...it doesn't look like plastic, my sills are not leather, but my entire door panel is leather...or at least looks like it; there is stitching on the top half of the door, but not the lower.

Sorry for the s**** pic.

The "Full Leather" option meant leather seats (front and back), leather dash (upper and lower I believe, but not right to windshield), leather door panels, leather door pocket doors, and leather panels either side of the center stack. These are recognized by stitching along the front edge of the dash, along the top of the door panels, along the armrest doors, down the front edge of the center stack side panels, and on the rear seat side-panels (above the speakers and down the back side of the speakers). Anything else, like console lid, console, strip along inside of windshield behind dash, sun visors, fuse panel door, coat hooks, PCM face, vent slats, steering wheel, etc etc are all extras treated individually.
I've seen cars without the full leather option but with supple leather seats. But I've never seen a car with full leather without leather seats. Of course, some of the GT3's have full leather interior with alcantara seat inserts.

"Full leather" option does not vary between cars. There are still extra leather trim options on top of the full leather option code. The center console lid is one example.

-Entire front seats?
Yes, except for the seat backs which in 2008 was a separate leather option for $1610.

-Rear Seats?
Yes

-Top part of the door panel?
Yes, except for the "door finishers" (the area where the door handle is) which in 2008 was a separate leather option for $360.

-Center of the door panel?
Yes, except for the speaker grills (which in 2008 was a separate leather option for $2570 and included both front and rear speaker grills in leather).

-Arm rest lid of the door panel
Yes

-The whole dash or just the strip that covers the front 2 inches and the instrument cluster?

The whole dash is leather, except for the "defroster strip" which is the last 2 inches or so closest to the bottom of the windshield (for 2008 you could get that in leather too for another $585).

-Glove box?
Yes

-Center console lid?
Yes it is leather but without stitching. If you want stitching on the storage bin lid then you have to get the optional "Storage Bin Lid With Porsche Crest" or "Storage Bin Lid With Model Logo".

Here is a full list of all the leather options that were NOT included in the full leather package. This applies to the 2008 model year, I'm not sure about other years:
Leather roofliner
Leather sunvisors
Leather rear center console
Leather instrument surrounds
Leather steering column
Leather sill finishers
Leather door finishers
Leather seatbacks
Leather dome lamp cover
Leather seatbelt buckles
Leather seatbelt outlet trim on B pillar
Leather trim strip for gear lever/tiptronic surround
Leather defroster trim
Leather defroster air vents
Leather fuse box trim
Leather PCM panel
Leather release lever for rear seats
Leather luggage stop on rear seat backrest
Leather door and rear speaker covers
Leather rear view mirror
Leather clothes hook on seat backrest
Leather Bose subwoofer outlet
Leather front air vents trim and slats

Thank you Nathan. I was going to write that my seat backs are not leather, but my car has full leather and I have the model option designated on my armrest. You can see some of the leather in the pics on my album.

I have a cab w/o full leather. I wonder if leather vs vinyl on the dash would be more weather resistant?
