Sounds like a synchro. A previous car had the same symptoms going from 2-3, changing the gear oil made it a little better but did not cure it. It only did that at high rpm shifts.

Same problem here. Have 23.000 meiles.
Happens often when the car stand for more than a week. But I tested car of my boss which stand like 6 weeks and this was fine.
In my car it occurs more often when I take a turn e.g. at a intersection and shift while turning (10-18 mph). But also while normal acceleration.
The gearbox even block sometimes the first gear - I have to shift in another gear until it works.

I already drove to Porsche and they couldnt find anything.

This drives me nuts. I drove 20 meiles having the problem like 6-9 times and at the dealership everything was "fine"....

What do you think we should do?? i was going to go up to porsche today to see if they could find the problem. its horrible because if i try to accelerate fast off the line i cant shift to second without this happening therefore making me miss second.

Are you sure you have the clutch pedal fully depressed and in time before shifting. Sometimes we can a get lazy with this if not careful.

Does sound like a synchro to me, have it looked at by the dealer. If it's anything like my 911 though, the second I get near a dealer, it starts to behave perfectly.

Same here.

It happens more often when it is cold, but also when it is kind of warm

And I definitely pressed the clutch. I made some tests on the company's parking lot and it happened several times.

If my gearbox explodes into thousand pieces, it is not my fault....I have a documentation that they didnt found anything.

Well i just got back from the dealer and yes on the way there it didnt happen once. but once i got the mechanic in the car and took off it happened 1st try! lol anyway he said right away its a bad synchro. so im bringing it back tomorrow for them to take it apart and look at it. they said it is possible that it will be covered under warranty so im hoping it is. If not does anyone have any idea what this might cost to fix??

If this is not covered by warranty, than the warranty is completely worthless.

When I got my car back from the dealership on a Monday, everything was kind of fine. I put in the garage until Thursday and she did it again.

I have the feeling that my 911 is comparable with a *****y women - dont drive me I have headache

and as for the warranty i agree. it should definitely be covered because i know i haven't done anything to cause this damage.
