The installation guide calls for 110 time units.

Ordered mine today ($1450 installed). Dealer said it is going to take 2 to 3 weeks from Germany.

Does that include a new "frame" for the updated switch configuration (adding the sport/sport + switches requires a new piece of trim)?

I am going to my dealer this afternoon to place my order.

My dealer had no idea about the sports retrofit. I had to show them the Suncoast advertisement. They came back with the quote of $1450 (took 2 days). No information on what exactly was included (hope they get it right). Hopefully the factory will send the right parts. There can't be much to it, as there is not much labor involved. I am still not sure if I will be getting a "sport" button and a "sport +" button or just a "sport" button. My porsche does not have PASM or PSE. It is going to be a long 2-3 week delivery (can't wait!)

I also had to walk my dealer through the Suncoast site. After their research, they are the ones who told me that in addition to the kit, they would also have to order the trim plate. They wanted to know exactly what my existing configuration was (how many buttons I currently have, so they could get the correct trim piece).

This makes sense to me since the number of buttons will be different for most, so the Kit would have to include all variations/possibilities of the trim plate to ensure the correct one would be included for each build.

Hopefully the quote form the dealer includes this piece - I believe the cost for the trim plate is around $73.

Sounds like you have recieved the best information so far. Now I am worried! Since the dealer is sending my VIN # with the order, I hope Porsche will send the right parts for my configuration. Not too much fun being the early adopters!

The trim plate will not effect the overall kit/VIN issue, so do not worry about that. It will come into play only when trying to fir the buttons in the console.

I have twice before ordered parts from Suncoast that my dealer then installed. The guys at Suncoast are at the top of the totum pole on these newly released items. Going through your dealer who has no prior experience with a new retrofit can be very inefficient. It took 6 trips to my dealer to get my 2010 mf heated wheel installed on my 09'.

I wish I could go through Suncoast for the entire purchase/install process - but I can't seem to find their Maryland location .

Actually, the dealer I am going to use is a brand new P-car dealership (since this spring). They do have have two experienced/certified P-car mechanics - hopefully all goes smooth!
