SW EVOM wish list

Please develop an engine conversion to 3.8-3.9L for the NA 3.6L 997.2 cars and price it close to a TPC turbo package. 10-13K for the install and parts and I am ready to go right now. Doesn't need to be the super HP GT3 conversion but if you could equal or just surpass the S model powerkit HP and torque I would be ready to lighten my wallet as soon as my warranty runs out.

Would make to base Carerra a total sleeper and real street killer. Unlikely I know as any conversion will probably be for a S car if at all but we can dream can't we? Those nasty S owners get all the toys and powerkits.......

Then again that is the reason why my next 911 will be a turbo or S with powerkit. The base 3.6 is a great Porsche rear engine introduction and has probably kept me out of trouble power wise so far.

Heirarchy of power boredom:

1. Buy a Turbo or Turbo S = Get bored and buy bigger Turbo's
2. Buy an S = Get bored and buy a Powerkit or Turbo
3. Buy a Base model 3.6L = Get bored and buy a S or Turbo

Lol, thats how I see it........

I cant remember what famous racer said this about power,

"When you can spin the tires from the apex of one corrner to the braking point of the next corner, you have enough HP"

I am sure it was said well before drifting was even invented.

I doubt they will develop a kit, as the Carrera engine is different then the GT1 block, and probably not a huge demand for this type of conversion.

Yeah, if you're willing to drop $10K-$13K for an upgrade kit for your base carrera, just to increase power to equal a C2S, you'd be better off just trading in your base car for an S.

Don't **** in my corn flakes. It is a wish list but there lies the problem with big power conversions in the c2. Easier to just buy an S. Then again when I was buying my philosophy was who needs that kind of power?

Are you against going with the SC / Turbo route? Seems like a no brainer if you want to make power.
