Replica GT3 wing on my Carrera... to fill or not fil the "3.8L"

I haven't gotten my GT3 wing yet from Precision Performance... but when I do, it will be the new 2010 GT3 style wing....

On the sides of the wing it will have the 3.8L designation.

My question is, I would honestly like your opinions... its a gorgeous wing which is why I chose this style over all others... but my Carrera is a 3.6L engine...

Would you consider me a "poser" if I didn't have the body shop fill in the 3.8L lettering on the side? My gut tells me that this is probably the right thing to do...

Probably won't be noticed by anybody other than Porsche enthusiasts... I'm not going to add at GT3 bumper, just don't want to get laughed at per se if its a simple matter of just filling it in...

I know, my car, do as I please... I'd just like an honest consensus here of what you guys think...

Thanks,
Mark

It's not as bad as an M3 badge on a 320. But I would fill it.

Leave it alone. Who cares what is says. As you say those in the know will be able to tell but I doubt anyone would bring it to your attention. They'll also be able to tell the wing isn't a stock item for your car and your car isn't a GT3 with or with out the 3.8 removed. In any event, the wing will look great on your car.

my honest opinion...

you have a base 3.6L engine...adding the 3.8L designation makes someone look like a tool...

dont do it

fill

your car is a 3.6 so please fill.... if your car was a 3.8 I would say do what you want but based on the above you have NO other option here but fill it.... none. Keep in mind, I am a guy that likes almost all mods...

I put a Jenn-u-ine "HEMI" badge on the back of a Toyota Yaris (back when diesel was $5 per gallon). I did it just to make people smile and wonder.. "That thing gotta Hemi?"...

I'd fill it ...

no

it is not.... and we see lots and lots of turbo wheels on none turbo cars...wheel swapping has been done on P cars since the beginning of time. Gt3 nose on a none gt3 also looks 1000X better then a bland stock set up...

hope that helps.
