Pioneer bluetooth issues

I replaced my Bose system with a Pioneer Avic Z120BT plus Focals speakers and power amp and love the sound. Unfortunately when I get a call unlike other systems the sound does not mute, instead it just lowers itself and is basically useless.

The pioneer has a setting for how much the phone mutes the sound. Check in the settings under bluetooth or maybe sound.

Jbauza, tells us more about the installation. How about some pictures? The stock phone seems to be useless for Verizon customers.

The amp is Focal 75 WAtts x4 solid 4, Focal separate Polyglass line, they rewire the car. We kept the Bose subwoofer whose power amp was connected to the head unit. The power amp was installed in the trunk, and since my car is black we also installed an electric fan to keep it cool during the summer in Ga. I have pictures in my iphoto program but have been unable to download to my album in this forum. Finally solved the bluetooth issue. System sounds great.

Man, I want to see what this looks like (in person) in a 997.1.

jbauza, do you have sport chrono? What displays on the dash now where the radio settings could be displayed?

where did fan go?

you can click at 'garage' link on top of this screen - on black line between 'used car listings' and 'old photo archives' and make an album there.

do you know exact models of speakers used? i looked at some focals but they were of different sizes compared to stock speakers, i wonder how did they manage to fit them in doors. did they have to cut anything or make custom adapters?

No modifications were necessary. I am not sure of the size, can try to find out in the next couple of days. The amp sits in the floor of the trunk and the fan is bolted on top of it, in theremovable cover. We got the bizel in e-bay from euromotorsport.
