Gauge face mod but I broke the gauge

I decided to change my gauge face to red and recover my steering wheel. However, the gauge needle was a bit tough to pull out and after the mod, my water temp. gauge is not working. I think the needle shaft came lose while I tried to pull the needle out.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this? Or know anyone who can fixt this?

thanks,

may have to replace it, would not think that would cost to much.

Can you tell us how you went about removing the actual needles? Did you simply pull them off? Any trick to their removal?

I found a local shop and got it fixed, and very reasonable price.

I got the gauge dial from Germany, FVD cost way too much. This guy can make anything and good price, but he takes some time to reply.

The needle you just pull them out, but sometimes they are a little tough and pushing them back at the perfect position is a pain.

I was looking for a thread about replacing the faces, did you write a thread or have some other source of info. I have a 997.2s with the silver gauges and really would like to change them to black.

Wow. Have you asked around to find someone to trade gauge packages with that has the black setup and would want the silver faced gauges (if that can be done, don't know).

There is a well documented gauge face change step by step on planet-9. Eventhough it's for a Cayman, steps are very similar.
