noisy Pirelli tire

hello guys,
recently I bought a set of carrera sport wheels mounted on Pirelli Pzero tires..can you guys tell me if you are running this tire and what has been your experience so far, to me the tires are very very noisy, like if was driving inside a tunnel and I think one tire is causing more noise but not sure, I remember my bridgestone wasn't that bad or my ps2

Are they new tyres? Should not be that bad with new tyres. However, from my experience, Pirellis are spoiled faster than Michelin

Have the same wheels and tires and this is my first 997 that I rode in, so I just thought the noise was normal, but the car is noisy as all hell on the freeway.

Had an issue with my front Pzeros and had to replace them and if the rears (which I did not replace) had a few more miles on them (5k) I would have gone with Michelins. Have Pzero Corsa on another car of mine and they are not loud at all...though the exhaust is loud so maybe they are.....

At the risk of piling on, my car got Pirellis when CPO'd and they are very, very loud.

Will switch to either Hankooks or Bridgestones when these are worn down.

Hello all. First porsche for me. When driving back home the first time could not understand how the used pirelli could be so noisy. On bad roads its just unbearable.
