Well isn't she the opinionated one! She may not like big polluting pickup trucks. I don't like overweight, know-it-all Prius drivers. Sheesh!

Seriously, the people in the pickup showed tremendous restraint. I don't know that I could have done so well.

yeah..

good thing she didn't get shot in the face with "a very nice Heckler & Koch Mark 23" by someone here.. (even tho the .45 ACP may be the only way to shut her up )

To the OP, why did you honk and flash the car before passing him? Next time, just pass him. And what's this about a gun? You can't pass a truck? You can't get away from a Prius?

I pass on the double yellow when i have a real long straight and someone is going below the speed limit. I do this in any one of my cars. I don't understand the need to drive that slow and be content with it. On the other hand they are probably wondering why someone needs to go that fast.

What is even funnier is that they try to speed up to keep you from passing even if they have been doing 25 mph for 10 miles. They now feel the need to not allow you to pass.
You did the right thing by not stopping at your destination, that's what i would do.

wow that confirms why i just go around people and loose them, i had a taxi driver do the same thing, eventually the cops showed up and the 20 or so officers told him you can chase some one down for going around him. i live in Miami and Prius p****s are every where here acting smug about the eco killing car.
