991 Emblems - Thoughts?

Has anyone changed out there emblems to the 991 version? Post a photo if you have or what are your thoughts on changing them out?

It appears that the letter height is smaller.

Nope. To me, it's like putting stucco on a single-wide - it's still a single wide. I like each model the way it comes.

I like the retro look as well, but also like the look of it just saying Carrera 4S on the 997 cars

Ask yourself this. If when you were looking to buy your car it had already been modified in this way, would you have purchased it, or moved on unsure as to what else the previous owner changed because he thought it was tasteful? How you answer this question will tell you whether you really should do this.

If I go the ducktail and Fuchs route with mine, I will likely also replace the Carrera with PORSCHE on the back.

My thought is to do whatever makes you like your car more.

I personally do not like it. I debadged my car and have been going back & forth about putting the black "911" on the back.

However, I wouldn't discourage any member from modifying their cars. It's the OP's car and to him it add's to the appeal. I've been knocked for having 20" Techart's, I really like the look over stock and since I'm the one enjoying it, my opinion holds the most value.

You can always remove the mod.

Remember the VW Bugs with the Roll Royce grills on them...

What makes you enjoy you're car the most, is most important. I'm doing huge engine modifications, so who am I to talk?
