Just open up the engine as a step one. Everything else can be changed based on what you find. It's your money and your decision. Go for it!!!

Well, looks like you got caught and lied to everyone on this forum as well as claiming you're FIA licensed. First part of the video you missed the apex by a mile or maybe two, and towards the end around 1:57+, you bounced your rev limiter. Thus, driver error so don't be going around the forums telling people your some idiot who is FIA licensed because seriously by the looks of the video you can't drive. I wouldn't be surprise if you deleted this thread after this post. GL selling the car and don't be embarrass to take those driving classes provided at TH, you can benefit a lot.

ENJOY THE VIDEO FOLKS!

I can not stand people who intentionally mis-badge their cars to a higher model. It is so low class that it makes no sense to me. You realize that most people label you as a fake poser immediately, right? I mean, the only people you are trying to fool are the ones who know what that badge stands for, others don't care. Problem is that people who know that badge also know what car it belongs on.

It is your intention to 'scam' people in making them believe you drive a car that you do not. The problem with people like you is that you run into people that know cars and they end up putting you on your a$$ for it, and then you get all humble and prentend like it is no big deal.

This post, the badges, the pics, your Ferrari gear all scream attention. Well now you got it and we all hope you are enjoying it.

I hate to kick a man when he's down, but sometimes a man just deseves a kickin'. I hope you get your car troubles straightened out and I hope you remove the fake badge when she's back on the road. Good luck.

So people who conversion for center exit exhaust is a ***** too ?
It's just the pieces of plastic. And I just don't like the 911 badge that previous owner put on.
And Yes I lied that previous owner put it on because I don't wanna make this thread go out from the main point.

I'm sorry if everyone so mad about the badge. But it is just a plastic. I'm just happy with it and I don't like 911 badge and didn't want the Carrera S badge.

I'm not badging this car for trying to sell it as a gt3rs scamming people or anything.
I don't get it.
If you gonna post to only blaming about badge then this wouldn't help me get through anything. Just stop.

New LED's don't change anything IMO.....but it's all about the owners choice. Putting a model bag on a car it's not is just dumb.

I think the engine issue is driver error .....after reading everything. If owner isn't honest about the badging....he isn't honest about what happen. OP also states that people commented that they never seen someone drive a Porsche so hard....i think what they meant was reckless!!

Get a new engine or used engine and call it a day.

I agree with Joe about this thread.

Here ya go.

Is the car in the video was the one he drove? It doesn't look like 997.

This thread has become a joke. Get the motor analyzed before posting another response. Save us all from this trivial discourse.

OP..your a joke, liar, poser, scammer...ect.....nothing good can come out of your situation.....oh that's Karma!!

Guys, lay off the OP. He has a blown engine to replace, and has a car that has wrong badges on it, as well is in need of some more track experience. The end day it is his car, and he can do with it as he pleases. No need for the race comments, who cares where he came from. I am sure his English is better then most of the peoples Cantonese/Mandrin here on this forum.

Taking the problem at face value ie blown motor: Op asked a question and it was answered ad nauseum. The rest of this sounds like a bad kung fu movie (not that I don't enjoy a bad kung fu movie mind you) How about putting this to rest.

good question...

the OP gets slammed by two new members who just happened to join this month.

One posts a video with no details. And no follow up when asked.

Seems there are questions on both sides.

Yes, also that video the driver needs a lot of work, shouldn't be critical of others if it was the person that posted it.

very odd video, person on the right seat does not behave as an instructor would, they have some crap hanging from rear view mirror and some sh$t on windshield as well, it looks like a private event of some sort with no adult supervision.

still, of course, none of that matters, people are free to do with their vehicles all they want. it is nothing but a tin bucket with bolts and nuts after all, no matter what badge you put on it.
