I beginning the search to replace the OEM CLs on my 2012 White GTS Coupe.

I'm looking for suggestions for which wheels to get.

Thanks in advance for your help.

There aren't a whole lot of choices. CL wheels are available from OZ, HRE, Champion, Forgeline, Fikse and Modulare that I'm aware of -- there may a few other sources as well. All of them are forged wheels with the exception of one cast model from OZ, the Superleggeras. The cast OZ are the least expensive that I'm aware of - everything else gets pricey.

If I ever break down and get a set of track wheels for my car, I'm leaning towards the OZ Superleggeras, although I really like the Forgelines as well.

I just recieved my wheels from DPE. I have a 2012 GTS with CL's

Anyway, I chose this wheel because I didn't want to stray to far away from the stock looking wheels. I just wanted them more aggressive (offset).

I am going to have the wheels and tires mounted, and when I do I will add more photos. Check out DPE's site. Nice product. A bit on the high end but the quality is what lead me to them.

If I could swap them out for 5 lug wheels and axles that would fit on my car perfectly on an even trade I'd do it for the sake of convinience. I wonder how many GTS were made with the 5 lug option.

They are cool looking and is a fun thing to talk about with guys who don't know jack about cars, but I like more wheel options. I need to do more research on what car I can do a swap with. I think someone said it was a '10-12 turbo (not S) that was exactly the same. If I was buying new CL wheels I'd probably go with champions then volk racing if they have one.

Almost all the high end wheel companies make CL wheels. You might have to call if you don't see them on their websites. When I was looking I found a ton.

Sometimes i find it funny that porsche went with cl wheels... Did they run out of ideas to sell to the market? We see cl wheels on racing cars that do the pit in less than 5 seconds. Arent cl wheels heavier than normal 5 bolt wheels? Performance wise, it hurts.

Thanks for the link. This is something that I might do down the road, but definitely not in the near future. I'm a bit scared of the stories about CL failures on the track and I would like more wheel options.
