997.1 sound symposer?

I love the idea of having something like 991 symposer done to my 997.1.

Is there any kit/DIY out there so I can make it happen?

If possible I would love if I could toggle it or at least have it open only in sport mode.

For those that don't know what symposer is... It's the tube that brings the sound of your engine in your cabin.

Thanks!

You don't need a sound symposer to get this on a 997.1 just bypass the resonator in the air box.

Just to be clear. I don't want my car to get louder (it's loud as hell as it is). I just want to hear it better inside the cabin. I'm riding with my window half open most of the time cuz I love the sound of the engine. And trust me... Winter here in Slovenia are freezing cold.

Run a tube from airbox to throttle body and then plug the resonator in the air box.Fabspeed has a "cold air kit" which does this but quite xpensive.

Go to the rear deck of the car and remove the carpet portion that is right under the rear window. This is a long rectangular piece. after you remove it, you will see a 1.5" thick insulation material in the same size as the panel you just removed. Remove this insulation. Re-install your carpeted panel. You now have a 997.1 symposer!

Just burn a compilation of all the 997 exhaust sound bites on the web and play the dvd while you're driving.

My 997.1S sounds soooooo much better after installing the Fab Speed cold air intake. 20 minutes and it looks cool too!
It bypasses the Helmholtz resonator which lowers the sound at low rpms.

I didn't bother with the hose.
It may still be opening & closing the resonator flap but won't matter as you've bypassed it anyway.
It's there because in Europe, they don't like the noisy cars so this keeps the noise down a bit til you hit about 3.5 -4k then it opens
