Great product. Craftsmanship is every bit as good as oem imo but the leather and thickness is a big improvement over the wimpy stock wheel.

Very nice. Core is more likely $200.

Went back and checked my emails with them. Was offered that wheel for $599 plus shipping with the same stock core exchange so about $400 for the core. I should add that they build to your specs. Doesn't have to look like mine which was an alcantara wheel they re-wrapped.

Looks great!

However, for my taste, I don't care for how the seams are done. I can see where they folded the leather underneath the seams, I'd rather have the surface perfectly smooth like the OEM steering wheel. Again, just my taste. Enjoy your new wheel, I'm sure it must feel terrific!

Completely agree. Had two wheels and a shifter done by him. He does a professional job and pricing can't be beat. Core charge is pretty reasonable, too.

You definitely have a better eye for detail than I do. I see it now that you pointed it out but I can't say it bothers me.

Looks great! Super thick too. Did you go with the 1/16" or 1/8" padding? I'm guessing 1/8".

I surprised Don had that core in stock as I just asked about it recently and he said he didn't.

Good question. I just don't have a good answer. He had this wheel in alcantara wrap on his website and I just told him I wanted that same thickness but leather instead. I think you're right about 1/8" though since it's pretty plump. Any more padding than this would be too much for my likes.
