Lighting Upgrade
I changed my 997.1 front fog lights to the dectane DRL LED's and noticed now the light color doesn't match my headlight color. The headlights look more white and the LED's have a slight blue tint to them. Has anyone changed their headlight bulbs to get them to match the LED light look of the DRL's? If so what did you use and where is the best place to get them?
That is a very preoccupying concern, I have to admit.
On one side, you have a HID technology and on the other side you have some white LED, which are always leaning towards the blueish color. Therefore, it is difficult to reconcile both.
I would not touch the main headlight as they are excellent and legal on streets and roads. Besides, the bulbs cost a little fortune. You could try decreasing the current sent to the Fog Light to reduce their intensity a little bit, thus reducing the blue coloration.
Otherwise, I would just live with it, knowing full well that it will never bother me when I drive the car.

Thanks. Where did you get them? Any legal issues using these bulbs in the headlights?

My issues is that the mismatch of the colors make the foglights look non-OEM and I was going for the OEM 09+ look. I beleive the 09+ light colors match.
Do the new bulbs have any resistance issues like the DRL upgrade and cause the dash check light message?
