Angry Need Help steering wheel upgrade

I recently upgrade my 2007 porsche sport steering wheel (with tiptronic) to a 2010 porsche steering wheel(with Tiptronic) I also replaced the module(#997-613-289-01) required so that my horn and tiptronic would work.......Well I went by my local porsche dealer and ask them to clear airbag light and psm failure....I also advised them that me sport option, cruiser control was not working, something I noticed after the Install......but I had read in prior threads this was common and had to be reprogramed by the dealer. I received a call from SA at porsche stating that they would not be able to reprogram these options because the steering wheel that I had Purchased was a 2010 and the airbag was a 2011....thus not making things compatible??? I was under the assumption this was why I purchased the Module......It sound like my dealer doesnt know what they are talking about!? What do you guys think....any advise...I would hate to have to put the old steering wheel back on...

I did this a few months ago on my 2006 cab. In addition to the cost of the steering wheel/airbag, figure another $600 for the electronic control module (includes install), and another $125 for the steering wheel install. Works perfectly.

Before and after:
