Sport Buckets
Tracked down the mystery behind the P03 Sport Buckets. Third link below has a photo down near the bottom, and as I suspected, they are the carbon shelled seats with the back that can be released for access to the rear seat, but they do not have adjustable recline. Odds are, one of the two previous owners decided they were too uncomfortable and swapped them for standard seats before trading or selling the car, or he kept them to put into his next car because they're expensive (usually $5,.000-$8,000 2nd hand).
Here's a link to a post that talks about them.

Here's a guy selling the carbon buckets. If you buy that C4S and want to return it back to OEM spec so it would match the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, these are the ones you'd need.

as far as your oil question, service intervals are way long on these cars but you won t be changing it every 3K. Maybe someone local to the car can take a look at it for you also... I don t think you stated the cars location.
Also I think it will sell low 70s from the spec s I see.
Those seats look totally adjustable,(like mine) looks like full leather and probably heated. Nothing worse than a car with a seat that s not right for you. My seat looks less flared than yours at the top but has the same controls for adjustments. P15 option($1550).Full leather, heated and pass side power also. If that helps.
I bought mine out of state so I feel your pain.
PS/ If I m following the story... tell the dealer those are the wrong seats and he needs a price adjustment. May save a few dollars more.
After re reading , I was talking about Petza s seat pic... . So he d be right about his sport seat comments.
The seat pic you posted doesn t appear to me to be full leather (but totally adjustable).... So something not right with the seat issue.
I m getting confused, LOL.

The car is a few hundred miles away. I do not think the seats are heated. But supposedly full leather. I know they would take $73k, but that seems high based on the $65k recommendation by another poster. But you say low 70's would be a good price, so I am close on price.
I asked seller if there are any scratches on body or curb rash on rims. Seller says there is a little scratch over one wheel and a little curb rash on one rim. He sent me the following pics to show me the scratches:

I told him if we come to agreement on price, I don't want any surprises if I take the 4 hour drive or a flight to come buy the car, or I turn around and go home. Sales guy seems like a nice guy.
I realize it is all about price, but at the price points we are discussing in this thread, what should my expectations be. No blemishes at all, or if these are the only 2 blemishes, then not too bad?

They appear to be minor enough but that being said for 73K you can get a totally clean car. I wouldn t walk yet if you like the car... I also would check those seats, mine are leather and do not have perforations like yours... though that was not a full leather seat,, could be wrong. You don t want to give up the whole link on the car???
I wanted to say thank you for the great advice you all provided me during my search for the near perfect 2009 Meteor Gray C4S with 11k miles, with PDK, Chrono, all Leather, upgraded Bose, GPS, Bluetooth and Audio Interface. This car passed the PPI with perfection and it does not have a scratch on it. It also came with the Sport Bucket seats which I love and hate. I really like the way I feel like part of the car in these seats, like a good ski boot and binding on a snow ski. But, like a good fitting ski boot, it is a pain to put them on and off. With that said, I need to purchase more comfortable seats that are compatible with this car.
Words can't explain the thrill of the pick up and unbelievable ability for this well engineered machine to hold a turn. Taking turns on a winding road at speed, made me giggle like a school girl and I am not ashamed to admit it!
. It is friggin unbelievable!!
Again, thanks for all the great advice!
I look forward to meeting many of you at a Porsche event in the Tri-state area real soon.
Jeff

Congratulations!
The seats you should put in are the Adaptive Sport Seats plus. Johnny DB has a set he's selling either here or on Rennlist. Black leather, air side bolsters, and crests in the headrests. I think they were $2,900 or $3,900. That's what I put into my car and they're the best - comfortable with full adjustability, but also hold you in place quite well. If you get the alcantara versions from a GT car, they are even a bit grippier.

I am already about to pull the trigger on full clear bra on front of car, versus the 1/3 she came with and at the same time built in radar/laser detector. $$ Ouch!
But, I don't stop smiling when I am behind the wheel!
