Pics of my 2007 (new to me)
Thank you for your patience. I got the car a few weeks ago however there were a few bumps "getting there" as they say
Picked it up from a dealer about 500 miles away from me and drove it straight back home. Long story short this GORGEOUS Atlas Grey 2007 911S Sport Crono Sport Seats died in my driveway eek. No kidding, cyl. #6 "issue" I don't need to go into details. Luckily I've got a STELLAR dealership here who stepped up and in short order had the engine replaced under CPO and State Inspection done ASAP. Great GREAT GREAT people, I feel well served to say the least.
Just got back from a 700 miles romp to break-in the brand spankin' new engine proper and on the way dropped in to ride bicycles with some pals. After that I hit some back roads and LOTS of gear changes haha. Kept it under 5000 rpms with rare exception and in 700 miles used less than 1/2 a quart of oil. My gawd what a car, this is my first and am giggling over how much fun it is to drive. LOL even with the racks and bike ontop I got over 20 mpg and while on the freeway doing 65 all the time (cough) I alternated 4/5/6th gear...for break-in purposes natch. Color me impressed.
Here are the pics. *Note please don't ask me who the selling dealer was. I've nothing to say about them good bad or indifferent and harbor zero ill will. As they say @#$% happens and I'm whole after all is said and done thanks to Porsche and my dealership.

Very nice! Great pics and the car looks like beauty. Just as an FYI, how many miles were on the engine when it experienced the #6 cyl problem? What were the symptoms?
Again, congrats and enjoy.

I backed it into the driveway and called Porsche Roadside Assistance and that my friend is the rest of the story.
The car has a NAV-tv ipod (OPI-p) installed and I'm muddling thru controlling it. That bit works nicely and I'd be really happy if it infact will show me and allow me to select playlists. haha RTFM don't say it, I am!
Also, the car has a very sano Valentine 1 install. The guts are hidden inside the dome light and the on/off/volume switch is mounted just fore of the shifter. I've found a rear facing (laser ???) sensor over the license plate and it works like a champ.
She needs a map update for sure and I'd like to find some flat rubber floor mats instead of the plush carpet mats. Again, open for suggestions you folks have GREAT resources.
PS - I did join PCA
Awesome! Congrats!
I can feel your excitement and know EXACTLY what it's like. I just got my 2009 C2S a few weeks ago. Just nothing like driving a 911...maybe a those electric go karts at K1 Speed...maybe. :-) I'm also seeing the need for a V1, but would also want a built-in unit.

I think ECS and Suncoast are board sponsors (or used to be) and both have the OEM clear markers. Suncoast may also have the floor mats. Occasionally the carpeted ones go on sale and you can pick them up for a song.
Oil change done
Those filters take good heave ho don't they?
What oil pressure should I expect to see at say 3000 rpms on a warm engine? I'm seeing 4 to 4.5 and it buries to max (5) above that. Normal?
My wife loves the car and we are beginning to plan some of the road trips we've dreamed of. Headed south first maybe as far as FL. Those backroads in Gainesville are fantastic.
Just took my wife for her first romp. We have a winner.
