Thought I'd try something to spruce up the interior. May be too much for some, but I'm happy with it.

Thanks. It shouldn't. The grooves are too small for the skin to dig in deep enough to reach the paint.

I think it'd look a lot better in one color though. Or 2 if you did the R in a deviating color from the rest.

 

Thanks. It was a 10 minute job so I figured I'd experiment with various colors to see which shows best. All colors came out good. I'll try other color combos later. Very easy to do. Just dab paint with brush over the engraving and surrounding area, then just wipe over the top, leaving the engraving completely filled.

 

So how did you do it? What kind of paint did you use?

 

See post 5 for procedure. I used acrylic paint. They come in small bottles at the local art store. Typically used for airbrushing.

Not feeling the yellow

 

Drove the car around today and was thinking the same. Might do the R in blue if it bothers me enough.

 

very interesting use with paint. i agree yellow seems out of place, like everything else
