Agreed DocM - some nice black metal grills would complete the look. I've seen some DYIs for the sides, but not for the middle opening. I recall seeing a thread either here or on rennlist about a UK made set that looked good, but it was about $300 if I recall...not looking to spend that much right now.
If anyone has alternatives I would love to hear about it or get a link. Thanks!
Sorry for bad picture buy I don't have a better one to show the washers hose running from driver side to passenger side at the bottom of the inner bumper below the radiators intakes (see black tube bottom left) .
Indeed since you have holes already there for the OEM stock lip mounting, with a good light and a stick you can clear away the hose before drilling/screwing. Which is a big plus versus removing the front bumper. This being said, for those with only two DIY hands, it's going to be easier to position rightfully the new lip with the bumper upside down, thanks to gravity.
Bumper away is a good opportunity for complete clean up and inspection of front wheel housing, brakes cooling ducts, radiators area, headlights housing, protective mesh if any...

You can definitely tuck the center and sides of the spoiler further back. For example mine has the center section a little further back than some of the other installs that were done, because I reused the original mounting points.
The piece is extremely flexible so you could definitely get it tucked in more without needing to do any cutting.
