Whole installation took about 2h but one could go way faster if you've done it before. Install notes: - used 8x 1/2" screws. If you can find a bit shorter it'd be better but those are fine, just watch for the washer fluid hose - flattened the tabs by using a cutter to remove the *****. Easy enough but watch not to dig into the bottom of tab, and also not to scratch the visible lip - propped up front of car a bit using 1" pieces of wood. you can def use that extra clearance! - used a bunch of painter's blue tape to place and temporarily hold the lip by the bumper. That's all you need really - put in screws into centermost 6 tabs. can't really go wrong there, I dont think you can hit the hose. Just place the lip as forward as possible to look better - had to skip the next tabs since there is the long flaps in the way. Instead screwed in the outtermost 2 tabs and A. need to get feel for where hose is and B. place it right so that the front looks flush. Quite easy to do by just looking at it. - added 4 more screws to the back tabs. Just have to bend the flaps a bit but in the ends it's really secure. In the end the result looks awesome, somehow cars look a lot meaner from front. Few more things: - some folks say to put a little hose in the back to prevent the lip from bending down. I dont think that's a problem really... If anything it'll bend a bit further and give you more downforce at speed - the car ends up scraping a lot more with my PASM stock. I scrape gently about 2-3 times a day now... Also it will catch any park space stopper. No biggie but A. it'll be challenging if you lowered the car and B. I would not paint the lip, will get ugly real quick!
Looks great. Thanks for sharing.

Done this. It looks really good. Although I think I put it behind further than most. I like the looked tucked in Abit vs the one at the edge..although the one at the end for sure has better aero function...
but really is there a need for that support hose at the back that prevents the lip from flexing? Doe the 991 install have some kind of support there or is it really like that?

Rick, when I first researched this option it looked like the triangular tabs inside the SPASM spoiler are designed to rest against the underside of the 991 bumper. You can see this below in the pic of a 991 bumper (which I borrowed from the web) and marked up:

Below is a pic of how I compensated for this on the 997.2 install:

Great Info brother. This confirms the need for a support at the back. Again, hats off to you.. This mod will go down 997 history like the gundo hack...
