AVUS AF-502 Black

Does anyone know about AVUS-AF502 20" wheels? Specifically, the weight, cost and how they will feel if replacing 997 carerra s 19" classic wheels

avus

Avus wheels are the new HRE. The are super expensive and very exclusive. The wheels if going 20s will be more for looks than anything else. They are three piece forged so you can get different offsets and lips

I had the weight on the 501 in 20's somewhere but can not find it now. Though if I remember correct, it was like a 2 pounds per rim more then the lobsters claws..I might have been even less..

How much do they weigh? A buddy of mine had some 20" Avus and they were heavy as ****.

The set price is $3500 including matching pirellis + $1000 trade in for my 19" carerra classics. The problem is I can't get any weight specifications.

Just found the info on the AF-501 in 19 and 20.19" diameter for your 997S is, front 23 lbs. and rear 25 lbs. In 20" the weights are front 26 lbs. and rear 29 lbs. each. And here is the factory weight.Porsche Factory Carrera S

8x19" 22 lbs. 4 oz.

11x19" 27 lbs. 12 oz.

Porsche Factory Carrera Classic

8x19" 23 lbs. 10 oz.

11x19" 28 lbs. 11 oz.

Porsche Factory Carrera Sport Design

8x19" 24 lbs. 3 oz.

11x19" 28 lbs. 3 oz.

Porsche Factory Carrera Sport

8.5x19" 24 lbs. 2 oz.

11.5x19" 29 lbs. 4 oz. As yo can see they are heavy but not by much. 2 pounds more for the fronts over carrera sports(very popular rim) and the same for the rears...I hope this helps you. I know its not the same rim but the 501 are very similar to 502..

Thanks with these numbers, I just purchased the AVUS. I will post pics when I get the car back on Friday (after my EVO SC install is completed)

That's a killer deal on them. I have the Avus AF-MO2 20s. They ride rougher, but it's a killer wheel and the quality is top notch. By the way, the wheels in my avatar are my lobster claws. On the way home from a track day... Another thing... I curbed one and Avus had my custom lip sized and to me in a matter of a day or two. Killer.
