Documenting my C6 ZO6 build
Unfortunately, I went out to get some 60-130 runs with 2-shifts the other day and found that my 345/35 MTs now spin in 2nd gear routinely (they hooked perfectly with the stock gears), so it looks like I need some M&Hs. Once I get them, I post some new numbers.
The new tranny and gears are awesome, Joe. MUCH better than stock, IMO. Really suits the car well....especially the revised 5th and 6th.

Scott,
How is the rpm at 65mph on the highway now, under cruise conditions?
Just curious how the gear change affected that.
I'm watching closely because this may be the route I choose in the future after my car sells, and good highway driving manners(i.e. not too high of an rpm) are very important to me.

For comparison, a stock Z06 on stock size wheels/tires is at 2154 rpm in 4th gear at 50 mph. At 65 mph in 6th, a stock car is at 1400 rpm.

Believe it or not, it's actually more drivebale than a stock car. It has SO MUCH torque in any gear everywhere in the powerband, you rarely need to shift. Honestly, I think my car in 6th gear is as fast as a stock Z06 is in 3rd gear.
Thanks, bro. Ya...I think that power level is very close to optimal on the street.
