Heffner Peformance Ford Gt 266.9 Standing mile
careful how you state things.......you said they "won't" post the data......that would imply that you asked them and they refused. do you have some sort of proof or first hand experience where they refused to post any data?
"won't" is totally different from "haven't"
i would imagine that the top priority in their life right now is certainly not gratifying the curiosity of internet forums. it is entirely possible that none of the folks handling the data are even aware that people here are interested in it.
ive met jason heffner in person, and he seemed to be a great guy, very interested in working with his vehicles and focusing on his customers, rather than what is going on on the internet.
im not clear on what dans776 relationship is with them, but maybe he will ask them to come post something.
in the end......the best proof is repetition....im sure they will be at another mile event shortly.

Unibody Viper? Really???
Sal (the black GTS) has run over 191 on radials (see you tube), he doesn't use slicks. I expect he'll run even faster this year... His car still has the full interior, power everything, IRS, goes through yearly inspection/emissions, etc. Although, I think he ditched the AC last season to offset some weight addition when he was forced to beef up his required cage. Sorry, but 7 second cars have to have the cage to even run.
The 200 mph silver GTS has a solid axle rear and runs slicks.

Amazing.. So there is 1 and thats awesome.. but can that car run 168mph with no traction all the way down a runway?? and is it geared for 267mph?? What a full drag car can do a mile car cant.. I dont buy the 168mph on pavement.. Im still waiting for some data to make me a believer not just " we turned up the boost A LOT "..

Oh wait it'll go 300 at about 9200rpms maybe 9400..heheI have a pdf file from ford on gearing minus tire growth if you like to see it, its kinda cool...........

The Gt has a 3.36 rear gear, Very long legs and now add some rpm to it!!

To all standing mile racing enthusiasts,
After consulting with my team, my lawyer and my therapist I find that I cannot follow their advice and leave this alone. With no offense to Ray Hofman, I am 100% sure that the speed credited to him on Sunday’s run at the Exotics Rally is incorrect. Why do I feel so strongly? It’s simple logic.
Here is Ray Hofman’s run at the Texas Mile in March.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Db6zuZjWCmE
At Texas (after 3 days of runs and on his final attempt) Ray distinctly goes through five gears (not six) and reaches the mile marker in 24 seconds. His time credited was 249.7mph. So far I have not seen a video of his fastest run at the Exotics Rally. DragTimes.com does show part of a run, but it cuts off before completion.
How then is it possible to gain over 16 miles per hour and take longer to get to the finish line?
I cannot leave this alone because my business depends on verifiable accuracy. One person called this a game “played by intense individuals for personal satisfaction.” I can assure you that this is no game for PPR. Unsubstantiated claims hurt my business as well as my credibility. If I‘m wrong, I will…
But as of now, there has been no video, no data, no timing slips, absolutely nothing to verify the claims being tossed around. Jason Heffner would need to step up to the plate and post data and an in-car video of his 266.9 run for me to be satisfied.
My verifiable 252.97mph run at Top Gun Run took almost 24 seconds.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uk9vMQRIp1E
My best run at Exotics Rally, where I was told I went 255mph, (yet received no timing slips even asking for them five times) took 23.1 seconds. Unfortunately an electronic malfunction kills our data half-way through the run, but here is the video. You can time it for yourselves.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Y4aZx3aM7I
If Ray Hofman’s legitimately ran 266.9mph then there should be nothing stopping them from posting the video and data to back it up. Hell, when we set our record we were so proud that we had the video up that same night. Also, I haven’t seen Jason or Ray claim the mph the car ran. Sometimes it’s the things that aren’t said that speak the loudest. This isn’t sour grapes. I’m a shop owner playing this "game" with my own money and have an enormous amount of respect for anyone participating in this insane event. I just don’t like losing when the data (or lack of it) might say otherwise.
I propose a heads-up race between the top three tuners in the world. This would be great for the sport and would settle any disputes. Any takers??

At least i am not the only person who has to look like a ***** questioning these times.. And i have nothing to gain from disputing it but its fishy simple as that.. FGt fanboys would have taken a 302mph slip and said " yeah 600hp it will pick up 50mph "..

Its funny how he thinks because it took 24 seconds its not possible.. Like i stated else where, it could leave the line kill be restarted and goo 266 at 40 seconds. Were not dragracing the mile, were mph racing..... It took it 4 seconds on v-box to go 60ft.. You guys kill me LOL
Whats funny is how people think if you just mosey along the 1st 500 ft that it doesnt affect the MPH or if you bog it doesnt matter cause its just like the drag strip. bogged launches get more Mph but its not even close to the case..
A quick tip on how to run the fastest MPH.. get the car into HIGH GEAR as early as possible and the MPH goes up.. So if you can accelerate faster into 6th as an example and be in 6th 500ft before the previous run your MPH goes up..
So again i ask " where is the backup data?? " a car of this magnitude has no DATA to share.. such as 5th gear 9000 RPM @ texas and ran 250 and now 5th Gear 10k rpm 267.. just an example.. so where is it?? its going on 4 days now??

If you want to know so bad Call up Jason Heffner and ask him to share the data if he would like too.
Like i said i have the pdf file of gear charts you can use your brain and figure out how many mph versus rpm's they went in texas and in fl and they were in 5th gear in both states. It does not show tire growth though so you have to figure that percentage out yourself.

A public announcement would be nice.. People are asking the same questions on all the forums.. If you can make a post stating you did what you did i think you could post some datalogs too, no?? I dont want to know bad enough to call there and ask.. Just curious..

No problem, but i was told today there willl be no v-box or gps data availible for the public to look at. they Don't want anyone to know where they are getn after it at. PERIOD Its there data and there right and being they want to be the baddest in the land its only ok to concur with there wishes. So i will stop fighting back and forth with everyone trying to make people see the light and understand what this team is capable of.. You all will just have to wait until October. I will do this I'd be willing bet 10,000 cash the the car will indeed do over 270 in texas, Since no one believes it went 266.... If anyone would like to take me up on the offer... Im done bickering and there will be a video coming tonight or tomorrow i was told today....

Anyone else want in on this bet?? I cant afford 10k but i'll go in on 1000.00... 10 of us together could make some decent $$$.. if the rods come out the side of the block we get paid, if the wheels fall off we get paid and if the clocks are correct there is a good chance we get paid.. Anyone else in??
As far as not sharing any data, i wouldnt share what was my old record that was broken either with no data.. They dont want to share the GPS data on where they are getting the speed from??? We already where it was the 15psi extra boost that did it, right?? you tell me what secret the below graph shares with everyone?? OMG, he was almost WOT shifting the car, that was it.. We all know now.. WOT shifting will do it.. LOL
As far as the baddest in the land, they need to back some runs up before i would ever consider it baddest in the land.. Badass and VERY FAST sure but just cause some makeshift Miami Mile race gave them a piece of paper with a # doesnt mean **** to me.. Afterall it was said " so do you want the slip with your right time on it?? i can just enter it in "..

Like i said im not going to argue and i was told No Data for no one but direct involvement with the car.....I am sorry your not going to see the data you want to see. If you really believe it wont do it and didn't do it, We can make the bet much larger. We have 3 days in texas to go 270, i will bet it will go over 275.... If you believe it could be easy money get some guys together and lets do it!!!!
