Hey guys,

Anyone have suggestions for wheels for a Black CL550?
Nothing ghetto-tastic. Looking for something aggressive, but slick.

Color wise I'm thinking Black or Brushed Aluminum, any other ideas? What about wheel style? Does anyone have pics of wheels on a CL550?

the OEM AMG 20'' forged wheel looks the best but really expensive. for the price u can go with HRE any series including the Monoblok.

 

Not worried about price, though don't want the stock AMG, want something aftermarket.

Any thoughts as to what series HRE would look good but not ghetto on the CL550?

 

nothing HRE made is ghetto. go check them out at their site. M58, M43, 793R, 790R etc are all sick. also depends on the color u want. can't go wrong with them. On the side note Brabus & Carlsson wheel are also nice on the CL. does ur car have AMG bodykit?

 

Carlsson 311 in 21" is slick.

Anything Vellano will look sexy. VSI and VSP are my two favs.

 

Lorinser rs 8's are classy and cool looking, i think, in 20's or even 21's. They have the twisted spoke design. Have a look at em. Good luck, it's a tough choice.

HRE are the way to go. None of their wheels come close to ghetto hood, just the finish & quality speaks for themselves IMO. Especially on a CL, u gotta go w/ the best.

 

Brabus Monoblock V1 2 peice with rivets or Carlsson Ultra light 16 spoke.

 

VIP Modular makes nice 3 piece wheels too. I have 21" WEDS Krenze just to be little different...
