Rented the Dragstrip for my cars.

The Turbo is a new Tiptronic w/500 miles. Launching the car either power brake or just stabbing the throttle resulted in what seemed like seconds before the boost came on and then the car would take off to a 12.06@119, like three times in a row. I could not bring the boost up no matter how much I tried
Im guessing Porsches are not like other Turbo cars I have had.
Does tuning take care of this problem?
Here are a few pics.
The other cars ran good
GT500 10.51@132
Vette/Vert 12.19@115
E55 12.27@114
135i 12.31@114
Thanks,
Jason

wow, the Mustang and 135 are impressive!
What's done to the 135?
As far as the Porsche, I have alot of seat time in a tip - they are able to get into boost by powerbraking, I'm not sure why yours isn't. did you make sure it was in 1st gear? My best run was around 11.5 in a bone stock tip.

Great photos - looks like a fun day .
1) I've never driven a Tip but the stock Turbo has some lag and needs a bit more than 1/4 mile . I find a 45 MPH roll is the sweet spot . Also if humidity is high it's not good .
2) The basic ECU flash /exaust /headers/ intercoolers will knock out the lag significantly .
3) The real jump comes at 700 . It's all out face smearing acceleration . Again I'm not sure of how the Tip deals with this . The manual is tricky though --especially at 700 because the stage three clutch combined with the power assist feature takes time to buiild confidence on a launch and it's very easy to get left standing with improper engagement.

The 135i is a badass little car.
