i was looking at selling my RG5s to go with a simpler star type pattern wheel (RUF/Techart). I realize that those are cast rather than forged and weigh more but for me the weight issue isn't a big deal.

the wheels are in excellent condition and are 19".

what is a fair market value on these? with or without tires.

 

I'll say $1800 to $2200 for wheels.

Can't comment on tires as don't know make or condition.

anybody know the weight difference between the techart forumula vs. the champion RG5 in similar wheel size?

 

I'd guestimate at least 5 -8 lbs.

The Techart's I looked at were pretty heavy.

That's a fair price for cast wheels.
There are some black champion 171s in the fs section for around 3k, that's a steal, no connection, blah, blah. just passing on a good deal. Might be interested myself at some point. Sorry 4 the hijack.

 

Champion RG5's are forged, not cast.
