Dyno Time
Dyno Time
This weekend my brother and I are going to have the 997tt dynoed for baseline numbers before we send out the turbos for larger billet turbines.
Should we have it dynoed under awd or disconnect the front drive shaft and do it rwd?

It doesn't really matter....I'd do whatever you have access too.
In your case, your using the dyno to just get a before/after comparison, so the only thing I'd do is make sure you use the same dyno each time.
What turbos you going for?

I debated the before and after dyno testing but decided to put the money towards the pbox instead. I logged data for the stock car, car with just tune and exhaust, and car with upgraded vtgs added (and clutch).
I think the important thing is the consistency as Tom indicated - if you have access to someone with a linked 4wd dyno then you don't have to remove the front driveshaft, otherwise you do.
