Batt help

I've realized that Porsche batt are not the best...does anyone know what the batt weight is and if there's anything better lighter then the interstate mph7 I'm looking at....jeez 49 pounds is heavy...

One extreme - very expensive though

Just be careful taking the old one out. The angle that you have won't be optimal for your back trying to lift 50 lbs out of there.

I wonder if the frunk would be okay for someone to stand in. If yes, that would be perfect for getting the best leverage

I'm 200 lbs and it holds me just fine. Done it at least 3 times in the last 7 years.

I've called interstate and they said the h7 is direct replacement

Looks like you'll have to weigh yours after you remove it. I've never seen an actual number but only reports of 50 to 52 lbs.

That sounds right. For standard batteries that offer 650 CCA and over, which the oem porsche battery is 780. The weight is typically 50lbs.
