not another intercooler thread...

Yes upgraded intercoolers will allow you to go to the next tune on most off the shelf tuning platforms, however there are much better intercoolers out there than the AP ones...

The OEM 997.2's - GT2RS's are likely a better buy and will yield comparable or better results... i'd recommend doing a bit of research before just going out and snagging the AP intercoolers, it will be time well spent and you'll have all the facts prior to making the purchase.. who knows you may actually end up buying the AP IC's anyways, but at least you'll be doing so fully informed... just my .02

here's a link to two threads with some discussion but there really are countless others:

Get the do88 intercoolers they are far better than OEM. I got mine through PTF and the quality is great.

Kricci's advice is spot on. If you do your research you won't disappointed. BTW AWE has an excellent reputation that AP seems to lack.

I've done intercoolers to the death. I've done wind tunnel testing too. Not many sponsors on here wanted to put there coolers to the test when I offered them an oppurtunity. They all just talked themselves out of it and that shows how much faith they have in their products. I would just go with 997.2 coolers or something or aerospace quality the rest is crap IMO. As for AP they are as chinese as chicken fried rice.

Agency power is a pretty low end brand. I'd carefully weigh other options before going AP.

The BMC filters you bought were also a choice I'm not sure I'd make. A small bit of excess filter oil may ruin your MAF.

I would say until you go with monster turbo's just pick up a set of rs coolers. Kricci is correct.

I would keep stock intercoolers if you are not going 997.2 or better and the AP coolers are going in the opposite direction from better.
