Next Round Of Mods
Ok..., So I've had my car about a month now and it's a very fast car, but I can't leave anything alone. It was purchased with a Europipe exhaust, and a Sportec tune... I just had it custom calibrated and picked up substantially more power. Looking for advise, or opinions as to which should be my next mod for more power? It's a 2011 997.2 TTS.
I'm told intercoolers are the next logical choice, but I also understand I have very efficient stock intercoolers too. I don't want any turbo lag, so if that's gonna happen with new AMS or like coolers I think I would want to wait on those. Anyway, as it sits right now, it makes 546awhp and 626 lb/ft of torque on a mustang dyno. Any thoughts or opinions are welcome. Thanks.

Nice numbers so far! Intercoolers are next I would say. Guys have enjoyed some performance and nicer sound with equal length headers too. A few with your exact setup! Also IPD. You can likely get a little closer to 600hp and have more consistent power.
Thank you for your feedback... Can you explain to a Porsche noob WHY intercoolers are the next logical choice? And one more stupid question... What is an IPD? Any recommendations for good or best headers? Should I consider ported turbos as well? Thank you
Cheers!
The .2 IC's are actually great thermally. But flow wise they are restrictive. With good IC's (and there are a few great options) you will have slightly better cooling but also more flow capacity. Think of it like a 100cel cat vs and 200cel cat for example.
