Define "handles better." The Vantage posts better skidpad and slalom numbers than the M5 by far, plus is 500 lbs lighter, so maybe you're talking about subjective handling feel. Even there, the Vantage has received a lot of praise and beat out the Carrera in handling in one comparison among others. Do you have the sports pack? That definitely helps, but even in stock form the handling is excellent IMO. I got the H&R sport springs which add more tightness and responsiveness...more tossability so to speak.

My Aston handles better than my 996TT and my boxster. Other than a gt3 RS I have tried I would say the Vantage handles better.

If it was true, why would you even care?

My Z06 handled 'better' than my DB9. So what!

The DB9 is head and shoulders a better car than the Z06.

Define "better"? If your purpose is to put it on a track and race it than I'll take the Z06 (or upgrade to a ZR-1 and still have plenty of cash to spare).

"Better" really depends on what you are going to be doing with the car. Ideally I'd like a DBS Volante and a ZR-1 in the garage so I could take the one I'm in the mood for. Since I'd like to keep my house, I'll stick with just the Vantage for now.

Although I haven't done any formal testing, I think my Vantage handles way better than my M5. I did some driving on a mountain road in the fall that I wouldn't dare attempt with the M5 and its 500 extra lbs.
