ECU (Emotion Control Unit) photo request...text

I am new to the Forum but have enjoyed the Members inputs on all things Aston Martin.

I am a HUGE fan of the DBS and while the auto is still a long way out of my reach, I would still like to have a little momento on my desk. I am a modest wood-worker and would like to knock out a fun little full-scale replica of the ECU.

I was hoping there would be a Member or two that wouldn't mind posting a few detailed photos of the elusive device. Snap away at all angles...all photos and input would be VERY appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Just bought a new lens for my camera the other day and was practicing on my key - nothing great, but here you go!

I'm sure if you Google the key, you'll find loads of good shots out there.

Those pics. are wonderful...thank you so much! I have spent no less than 3 solid hours looking for images of the device via google and after using every search name combination imaginable, came up with a total of eleven (11) total adequate images! Your images represented here are already the best ones I have seen to date! Thank You!

I suspect he's going to need at least one shot that gives him the scale of what he's looking at.

Of course, if we find that someone had their ECU stolen and replaced by a replica, we know who did it.

re: AM ECU

Yep...I think I should be able to get one that actually works in a real Aston.

Right now I'm just focusing it on working on my full-scale wood DBS that I am building for Jaymoney. It will be powered by my girlfriends cat and will do "Zero to Sixty" in....well, never.... LoL

I could use some scale pics of the piece beside say a Dollar bill to get a good scale and some pics. of the rear and back would be great also.

I had a Member PM me and tell me about a little leather case that came with each unit ? Have not heard / seen this.....I am thinking this might be the "cheat" I am looking for to cover my ****-poor wood-working job! Pics of that ?

Again, this Board and its Members have been very helpful and I thank you.

The key is very fashionable. However, the backup key is a cheesy plastic one and I have a bad habit of losing keys. Therefore, I asked my dealer what is the price of a replacement key and he told me it was $950 to replace it! So you could always just ask to purchase the key itself to keep as a memento.
