Help: Brake Light

I just changed my front brake pads. Everything perfect except the dash messsage still reads "Front Brake Pads Low" and the Brake Warning Light is on. I tried the reset button behind the passenger seat but it didn't work. Should I try pulling the fuse? How do I reset it. Apperciate the help!!!

Someone else on the forum said he had the same problem and then it reset itself. I would like more info. How did it reset itself? How long did it take before it reset itself?

I took off the sensor for the pad wear after I switched to carbotechs. Did you stay stock or went aftermarket? I

I went with the EBC Reds. They are great so far but I've only driven the car from the shop to home.

So by removing the sensor, the lights and message will turn off? That would be awesome. I really need my message to read how fast I'm going, lol. How do I remove the sensor. Thanks so much!!!

I see you're also into bikes. I have an 08 CBR and just sold my 2010 Honda Fury. Stay safe.

To get your digital speedometer back, you will need to push and hold the "READ" button on the console center stack while the engine is operating. You will have to do this every time you start the car until you correct the underlying problem-in your case, the brake sensor signals.

by the way the button behind the passenger is not a reset button, lol. It's to engage the battery once it has been disengaged. But to disengage there is another button in the trunk. Right side, remove the panel and you will see the button.

Yeah, I know quite a bit about those 2 buttons. A few others refer to it as a reset button.

They are little crimped U shaped piece of metal about 2 mm wide and stretched out would be a bit over 1/2 inch. Just pulls out.

I had the same issue but the errors reset the next day. I also replaced the stocks with EBC reds with no sensors. Good luck mate and welcome to Aston ownership

I tied the sensors back but the light still was on. The next day, there was no light. Yeah, crossing my fingers hoping it stay that way.
