purchasing advice for Vantage V8 :)

Hi there everyone,

new to the forum and AM. (although hopefully to be a AM owner in about a month) I have been eyeing on a Vantage for couple of years and finally I am lucky enough now to have the ability to buy one.

yet I am new to Aston martin in general... I have read through the forum for some advice in purchasing. I am looking into a low millage 09-11 used V8V the only thing holding me back is about the pricing part =S I am in SoCal, and I just moved here a year ago. So far I have looked at online Ads and checked out Galpin and AM newport beach..

in AM newport beach they hv a 2011 V8V N420 basically new, they are offering at 119k. how competitive is this pricing? in general, anyone has some recently experience on getting a V8V?

Any information will be appreciated!! if owners would like to share the price info private, please PM me or email me at edwards0322@gmail.com

Thanks so muchhhh!!!!

Edward

Thanks for the info! I will sure to take a look at it. The cars are all over the place, are they your company's stock or? If i am interested in one, do I talk with you or the dealer?

How about my 2008 celebrity owned V8V with only 5K miles and a gorgeous color scheme for mid 70K? This car stickered at $132K. What a steal.

I like the wood on the dash. I have the generic pseudo carbon fiber looking stuff and I have been looking at Mahogany replacement on e-bay for $800. Anyone know what a replacement goes for from the dealer? I know a few folks have gone with the Piano black.

How about a 2011 Quantum Silver N420? I only have 3,500 miles on it, $3,000 worth of 3M clear bra on the entire front end, hood, front pillars, mirrors and rear quarters. Also comes with lifetime satellite radio!

I had a Vertigo blue '07 MT car. I loved it and added some bits to make it faster/better looking/tailored.

Get the 4.7L motor and iPod connection. The sports pak is nice, but not a must have.

Lots of nice cars here!

What mods did you do to make it faster?

I've also been in the market. AM's seem to depreciate pretty fast. That '08 model posted up here is a prime example. In any case, if you feel the price is right... PULL THE TRIGGER

I did the AM power pack and a complete Larini exhaust (box, cats, pipes, etc.) installed by the dealer. It was loud, but I never had a 4.7L car leave me after those changes.

Cosmetics were the clear tail lights and 20" DBS wheels/tires.
