Yes, I've seen a few cars with it here. Research for the volvo systems, same idea. Uses a iMIV module to go before the nav screen feed..you then can play your video say an newer ipod that has video and display on the nav screen or get a module that was video feed and attach a dvd player to it do run your dvd's discs. The nav screen though only operates under PAL not NTSC so becareful on which dvd player/devices you try to watch..the ipod with video can be switched between PAL and NTSC at your request in the ipod options

Hate to sound like an old fuddy-duddy but why on earth would you want to do this? It doesn't sound safe for you or those you share the road with. I can see if you were sitting in the back seat of a car, but in a 2-seater GT it doesn't make much sense to me. I would hate to get involved in a serious accident because the other guy was too distracted watching DVDs instead of driving. If it's for the passenger, then an iPad would probably work better so it's out of the line if site of the driver. And if it's for the driver, I could think of better places to watch a DVD than sitting in my car.

I second that. Always makes me really nervous (and extremely annoyed) when I see drivers behind me looking down and probably texting or something while inching closer and closer. I already had one stupid kid bump me from behind because he was checking his phone....thankfully I wasn't driving the Aston or I'm sure the repair would have been a lot more expensive. Either way, I'm sure the distraction of watching a movie on the nav screen would be equally great...

Isn't driving the Aston entertainment enough?

I know when we install units like this up front, we have to wire it off the parking brake and fit a neutral sensor on manual if not fitted..on auto's it's wired through park/neutral switch..this way there is no motion of the vehicle with the front screen watching a movie..

Okay, but why would anyone want to sit in a parked Aston and watch movies from a tiny screen?
