Other than optional clear taillights and sills, what does the 2010 V8V have over the 2009?

The 09 have the 4.7 engine. They are priced lower than the 2010. Are there major differences like better navi or noticeable upgrades in the interior?

 

Nope MY09 is the same as MY10

 

Grant's book highlights various changes for 2010MY. New standard features included:
- HID headlights standard
- powerfold mirrors standard
- improved AC unit
- new 6 bar grill
- minor changes to wing mirrors & headrest for safety regs
- improved fuel consumption & reduced C02
- new controls for powerfold mirrors & autodip
- auto-unlock door feature
- new sound damping for the tub

There are various new/improved options too.

 

And a 2010 arguably has one more year left on remaining warranty than a 2009, depending on when it was put in service.

 

technically, u can get the clear tails and sills, paint and install and look like 2010.

HID lights were optional prior to 2010?

I didnt know they had increased the MPG from 13/19 to 14/20. Even when they bumped the HP in the 2009, the mileage didn't change.

 

Unfortunately, the bigger mirrors for '10 are much bigger. They were changed due to some new regulation (European, I think), which I think is absurd, and they simply do not look as good as the original mirrors.

The prev model years can have the autodip feature activated but it must be done at the dealer. Since the update, this is a user configurable setting.
