Some photos from the hill country
The Aston/Lotus/Bentley/Rolls dealer in Austin, Texas (John Eagle European) co-hosted a hill country rally over the weekend. I took my son and we had a blast. It was the first time that I have been able to stretch the car's legs, so I was tentative a bit in my driving. Plus, I didn't know the other drivers well and had my kid with me.
That being said, the V12V was fantastic. The brakes are spectacular, the engine so tractable and the chassis was marvelous. I did the same drive a year ago in the V8V and the experience was so different. I still love the V8V, but this car is my perfect GT. Fast in the corners, comfortable on the long stretches and beautiful to see.
I tried to post some of the photos to my album but they did not load up. I will keep trying.

A few of us are doing a track day at tx Motorsport in Cresson on mothers day, may 13. There are 2 spots left. About a 2.5 drive from Austin.

If you do not want to take her to the track, check out Lime Creek (just west of 620/2222 area) in Volente...beautiful scenery, amazing turns and minimal driveways. Just watch out for motorcycles.
