I would trade my Aston for a...(fill in blank)

I have an Aston V8V, and I'm pretty happy with it. This was my dream car when I retired from my long time job last year. I'm in my early 50's, so flat out speed isn't all that important to me anymore. But a V12 Vantage my be tempting, or possibly a Ford GT.

Is the DBS in addition to the 430 or to replace? I have been eyeing up a Scud so I'm curious.

I love the Aston elegance and presence. The V12 is monstrous. The interior craftsmanship is superb compared to Ferrari. The DBS will be more of a DD and is more comfortable to drive as a GT.
The 430 is a pure driver's car. Fun to carve canyons on the weekends and a great weekend toy. The visceral road feel and feedback is superb compared to the Aston.
I am eyeing Scuds as well but in Cali I love having a Spider - guess ill have to eventually wait for a 16M!

I'm torn between the DBS and V12V. DBS is my all time favorite, but it's a little too big for me. V12V has the right balance of power and driver feel. V12V i would modify the exterior body panels (not a big fan of the hood).
And i'm a huge fan of the 599 GTO.

Within the realm of possibility:
Upgrade the V8V to a later model year
V12V
Maranello series F-car
Or maybe a small stable of cars with 'character' (note I'm scrupulously avoiding the hot button word soul ) - incl early 70's Alfas, Lancia's and I have a soft spot for the Volvo P1800 (coupe or the rare hatchback - check out the current C30 for some cool influences from that car)
Out of the realm of possibility:
V12 Zagato (in a _heartbeat_)
Classic F-Car (250 GT California)
DB4 GT ...
... just to name a few

The 599 GTO would crush those Astons in terms of performance....great car!
