Do all 2005 Aston Martin DB9's come with a battery conditioner and umbrella for the back? Is there suppose to be 2 Crystal keys or just one? By chance anybody know the oil filter part# for these cars (trying to cross reference)?
Thanks
Thanks

The oil filter part # 4G43-44-10818, drain plug # 4G43-04-10205
The car comes with 1 glass key and 1 plastic or some early models came with 2 plastic then the client would receive the 1 glass key in the mail..either way, only 1 glass key per car..
The batt conditioner and umbrella were standard in 05 for DB9

Thanks for the feedback.
The drain plugs are not reusable in this car? Do you know of an aftermarket oil filter that can be used? $50 for a oil filter is a bit well stupid.

It is kinda high..but could be worse..we sell them for think 63$
It's the same as the Vanquish and V12 DB7, so you could always look around for Vanquish and V12 DB7 info..some on ebay but around the same price range..I'm sure there's one out there found in pistonhead..just I have never seen one on a car in service..
You can reuse the drain plug, I'm at the dealer and follow guide lines, AM suggests to replace..so I replace it..it's just mainly the rubber seal gets flat and can allow a oil sweat, good cheap insurance being that to replace an engine is north of 30K

Oh ok so there is a seal built into the oil drain plug, that makes sense than. I thought they might have used a copper crush ring or something. I really appreciate the info!
One more question, Does the 2005 DB9 come with one glass key and one plastic? If I'm missing the glass key how much is a replacement? Thanks again!

Oh wait..you have a 05..sry you only have 2 plastic turn keys, 1 chrome valet turn key and 2 plastic remotes standard...the glass type key came about in 2009 when they deleted the whole turn key and went to a remote that you insert into the dash to start the car

For a "pair" of 2005 remotes, run you about 800+/- and 1 hour max to program..
For the "set" of keys, 2 plastic turn keys and 1 chrome valet turn key run you about 400 +/- plus max 1 hour to program

Not necessarily -- I think it was a $250 option. If the option was spec'd you should have a leather loop high up on the right side of the trunk wall carpet (where the audio amp is) for the pointy end, and another leather strap with Velcro fastener on the left side for the handle. I've got it in mine
^^^ They are always shiesters on the umbrellas lol!
... I've heard that from a lot of DB9 owners that the umbrellas were missing.
Mine came additionally with a tire kit and factory DB9 specific indoor car cover which is really great and fits the car perfectly with stiched AM Logo and DB9 embossed on it, and exposed stitching along the silouhette of the car.
The battery charger is simply a Ctek 3300 which has been currenty replaced by the Ctek 4.3 unit. Either one will work but the 4.3 has a setting for AGM and allows for restoration of a flat battery.
