I'll stay in austin till Tuesday, anyone plans to attend the formula event ?

 

I wanted to go, but have a wedding that I must attend. Sigh..

 

I am actually down here today, craziness everywhere, be prepared for heavy traffic and long lines, Austin is ill prepared for an event this large. I heard the track is awesome. I had dinner with a prep race driver and he said it was the best track he had driven anywhere in the US. Wide, huge turns, great elevation. Unfortunately I cannot stay either, TV will be my mode for it this weekend.

 

I'm there Friday AM through Monday! Booked accommodations last year...
Will Buxton, Speeds TV's F1 pit reporter is hosting at Fado Friday night..

 

I was really hoping to go as well. Guess I'm going to start planning for next year now.

 

Traffic was just fine. What a great track and practice today. Really look forward to the weekend. There were a couple astons in the lot....many Ferrari's.

 

i got a call earlier today from a couple friends that are there for the weekend. they said the track is pretty awesome. sounds like it'll be a great time!

 

Jealous of you guys!!! I am a huge F1 fan & follower. Moving house this weekend but I made sure I set the cable up in the new place tonight and set it to record qually and the race just in case!
