So, what do we do about the "comfort" button on the '11 V8V? I guess I could just swap it for the sport one but I'd rather not.

That is a great price. My local dealer confirmed today that they can get the glass switches for my '12 V8VS. However the price to have all 7 installed was $2300. I opted to go with 4 glass switches (Sport, R, N, D) to keep the price more reasonable while still getting the updated look on the top row of buttons/switches.

Thanks to you, irish07, and elude for all the info.

You welcome. sorry for the price though. its really upsetting that they do that, just because we chose those cars doesn`t mean take us for a ride every chance you get!!!

How about I will buy all 7 for you here and you can see what the cost for install only!!!

I was told that the install cost for the lower buttons would be even more than the top. Since the top is already $318 in labor, I'm afraid to think what they will charge for the bottom. I'll live with the 4 that I asked them to order. Glad to see that you are enjoying your S.

Even if they charge a little more for the bottom install. if you buy them here for 950 and lets say 700 for install, you still come out about 600 cheaper then they quoted you.

Ogara in Beverly hills. Galpin actually gave me a quote of 1200 just for the top 4 ones and told me that the other ones are not even available. Go figure

Breezeman, thanks for the offer. I wanted to keep the cost below $1000. My dealer is charging around $1280 for the top 4 installed (inc tax). That is about all I want to spend. I need to save my money for the next must do item that I'm sure I will read about on the forum.

I ordered mine directly from the UK. It cost my $85 a switch and $150 for the install at a AM dealer

I have V12V so just the four on the bottom

Another data point for the group.

Star Motor Cars in Houston says I can't put them in my 09 DB9 Volante due to wiring differences. Bummer too, they had the dash apart this week to fix the broken AM radio with a new head unit.
