Took the plunge today
Hi everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself. i just bought a 2009 v8 and its on its way via transport from virginia down to southern florida as we speak. I have been a huge fan of Astons the my whole life as my father has had them for over 40 years. Finally I get to own one myself. Im looking forward to being a part of this excellent forum with all you guys!
Did you buy the car from Pieter at Aston Martin of Washington? If so, which one? I think I have all their inventory memorized..lol. The dark gray '09 with the anthracite wheels?
I just bought a BMW out of Atlanta this week. I could have driven the Aston part way down for you and picked up my 135i Cab at the same time.

Thanks everyone. I dont have any pictures at the moment but the car will arrive either tomorrow or tuesday so Ill be sure to post some pics asap. The options off the top of my head are:
-tungsten
-obsidian black with silver stitching
-sportshift
-bluetooth
-sat nav
-black calipers
It was purchased from Flow Porsche in Charlottesville, VA. Was a trade in for a new C4s from a fighter pilot stationed in Florida. Has a little less than 16k on the clock and the clutch has never been changed so I know thats a job that could happen any day now. The only immediate issue I have are the wheels. I prefer stock/sport option 19" wheels or something similar, but the previous owner has put on some very large ones. I think they are 20" in the front and either 21 or 22 in the rear. I spoke to Aston in Orlando who handled all of its servicing and they said its an excellent car, knew the owner personally, and that the larger wheels havent affected the vehicle, nor have they had seen any issues on any other with such a setup. I will, however, be looking to change them. Anyways, im really excited about owning such a machine. My father has had a 69 DBS, a 76 V8, a 91 Virage, and an 02 Vanquish over the past 40 years so this is something thats practically in my blood.

Im an attorney and its just a silly inside joke that doesnt have anything to do with the Viper. It has no real meaning. The car arrived!!!! Will post some photos tmrw. One thing I didnt notice initially but I do now is that the brakes squeal everytime I hit them. I also have noticed at speeds under 5 mph the wheels squeak from pretty much all sides. Is there an easy fix for this?
