Installed a set of these today. I had the car on a lift and removed the wheel well liners. The little 10mm flex-head ratcheting wrench was handy. With the wheels off and liners out it was pretty easy to reach all the nuts. Look great on my black sapphire pearl car.

Sweet! Do you have any photos? Would love to see as I'm considering doing this too. Thanks!

I will have photos eventually. The car is still in pieces because it is also having headers and a new clutch installed.

There were a few other guys at the shop when I did this and they all agreed these new lights look much better than the orange ones. I was skeptical before I put them on but they look fantastic with my blue-almost-black paint.

In all the pics I've seen on here of these Helix LED lights they are illuminated white. Seeing they are LED can they not illuminate amber but remain clear when turned off?

Grab two sets if they fit the DB9. I will paypal the funds. Might as well save on shipping. Not sure where your getting them, but if AM Bits, then we can add a few other items and I will just pick up the bill.

I was looking for clear options. Read this thread - had seen Helix aftermarket for BMW over the past number of years - they are also called Depo - we always avoided these Taiwan made lights in the BMW circuit since they were never made to DIN spec and either condensates, triggers error lights (since most BMW lights OHM levels are monitored via PWM signals for outage) or yellowed up due to UV exposure - be interested to hear from anyone who has had them in for more than a year or two and exposed to moisture (rain)?

BTW - the seller on eBay is making a killing - similar LED side markers for Audi & BMW by Helix/Depo are in the $25-35 range.

In one of your previous post, you mentioned that you were "tinting" the lights so the LEDs aren't visible when the lights are off. I assume you meant you were "tinting" the lens. How was that done? Paint? semi-transparent film on the inside? Just curious. Thanks.
