V8Vs Engine Mounts

V8Vs Engine Mounts
Just got my car back from Galpin Aston, I was told my engine mounts were broken/leaking insulation fluid he recommended replacing them, but also said it was okay to drive and wasn't to big of a problem. I got the car about a month ago with 9,000miles. Is this a common problem? Confused on if it actually needs to be replaced immediately or safe to continue driving?
Was quoted $2,136.55 to replace mounts plus $475 for 4 wheel alignment which is required.

Im not 100% sure but i do believe is it a launch model. Gonna be taking it down to O'gara this weekend and see what their opinion is, not sure what else to do at this point :/

I would get a second opinion for sure! That seems very odd with so few miles. If it were me and the mounts did loose all their fluid I still wouldn't replace them. All the fluid does is help dampen vibration. I would wait until the rubber deteriorates and it becomes a safety issue, which is probably 20-25 years out unless Aston had a really bad supplier. Until then, enjoy your car!
$475 for an alignment? Wow, that isn't a crazy ridiculous dealer price like I thought it would be.

Digging this topic up based on a search.
Just got my car back from annual service.
Two issues that they noted.
1. Passenger side engine (hydra) mount is leaking.
2. Timing Case Cover is "sweating" (minor leak).
To stay on point with this thread, my car has 42K and is a 2015 Vantage V8S.
The mount cost about $200 to $265 (depending on source), but the cross member has to be removed to replace them.
Thoughts?

Dude, here you come from left field with your random comment, irrespective of your mod status. Regardless of whether the thread is a seven year old thread, the issue is about vantage engine mounts. So, why start a new thread about the very same issue, instead of merely discussing it here?

You should get the timing case cover addressed before its a real issue.

Engine mounts
I've had 8 Vantages over the past 12 years and know many more Aston Owners - $75 for an alignment is way out of line and I've never heard of any problems with engine mounts. I've dealt with Galpin before with no problems, perhaps they are having $$$ problems.
