Front Brake Rotors

Hello,
Does anyone have the answer to this?
Will the front brake rotors from a 2015 Aston Martin V8 Vantage fit on a 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage? I want to keep my calipers.
Many thanks! Cheers!

No, they are different in size. 2015 front rotors are bigger.

If you want better brakes, just get the 2-piece brembo rotors, they will significantly improve brake performance as well as ride comfort and steering input. The suspension will respond better to bumps in the road as well

4-piston brakes are the same on both DB9 and V8 Vantage.

Wilwood makes 2-piece rotors as well.

Here's my old post with part numbers and review of brembo brakes on a 2007 Vantage.

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...de-review.html

I've since changed to portfield pads for street use as they are less noisy (actually porterfields exhibit zero squealing) but there is still some clicking noises from the floating rotor/hat hardware.

I believe the diameter is the same for certain ones, but can't account for other specs. Just measured the OEM and Wilwood rotors:
OEM Brembo front rotor is 1-3/16" (1.1875") thick.
Wilwood front 2-piece rotor is the same.
The only spec I've seen on the OEM 370Z front rotor is that it's 1.26" thick, but I can't verify that. Don't know about anything other specs for it, either.

V8 Vantage S rotors

I was recently in need new front rotors for my V8 Vantage S and wasn’t willing to pay the stealer $3400 for a new front set. After a couple days of digging, emails and phone calls, I was able to source a new set for just under $1000. Racing brake had a set that worked out perfectly. Warren was the gentleman there that helped me out and was very helpful. They were actually made for the Nissan GTR but apparently the Brembos they use are the same size, 380x34mm and have the same rotor hat PCD. I just installed them on my factory hats with the new hardware that was included and they work perfectly. They are supposedly a pound lighter than the brembos too. For those who are interested or will need new ones in the future here is a link to them. Less than a third of the price aston charges!

Reluctant to weigh in on this but....
47000 miles on carbon ceramic system (2012 V12 Vantage)
tracked only once
at recent inspection (where I expected to have to spring for new pads) adviser said pads were about 50% worn and probably good for another 40000 miles
rotors look new
no brake dust at all...stops on a dime
owner's manual cautions about aggressive cleaners' effect on the rotors

Thanks,
JH

I am also researching rotors, in case I can't find a shop that can resurface the ones on the car when I swap pads. I'd love to use Wilwood rotors but I'm not in that price range (nevermind carbon ceramics). I plan to get the Brembos for my '09 Vantage. Here are the part numbers:
Front: 09.8780.21 (355mm for 06-12 Vantage and DB9)
Rear: 09.8781.21 (330mm for 06-12 Vantage and DB9)

A set from onlinecarparts.co.uk costs 365 GBP ($455).

Vantage and DB9 use the same rotors until Vantage S.
